Beyond Food Lab was started by two sisters
who were more interested in food shopping than luxury product shopping.
Whenever we go to the market,
we must find any new food products and try at least one of them.
Also when we travel abroad, we love buying various ingredients to cook local foods ourselves
and to recall memories after our trip.
Six years ago in Bangkok, when we found meal kits to make several Thai dishes at home
we envied it, thinking, "we would love to buy something like this in our country!"
Since then, seeing various international meal kits from overseas food markets,
we thought,
'How nice would it be to have a kit that makes Korean cuisine easy to eat overseas?'
'It would be great if foreigners could buy meal kit souvenirs
to bring back home after visiting Korea!'
That's how the 'K-Food DIY Meal KIT WOULD U COOK' was created!

'How would we like to have a kit that makes Korean cuisine easy to eat overseas?', 'It would be great if foreigners could buy food souvenirs to bring back to their home country from when they visited Korea.'
That's why the 'K-Food DIY Meal KIT WOULD U COOK' was created!
- We were brave enough to step into a market dominated by major corporations with only an idea. Starting with a passion to make value-added food products by finding small companies manufacturing quality food ingredients, it is still the beginning, but the business idea has been being recognized via startup incubating centers, startup contests, etc.
- We will continuously make an effort to develop more kits in order for more foreigners and Koreans overseas to enjoy Korean cuisines, share the taste with others, and enjoy even more value of the food in other words, sharing Korean culture.
